Used the speed boat to get from Porec to Venice.
Although it was quite hot and crowded there, I loved the trip pretty much.

During vacation, we visited the beautiful town Rovinj.
The sun was nearly down and the buildings were lighted
therefore I could not pass by without that picture.
As I did not have a tripod with me, I had to use the harbour stone-wall to stabilize the cam.

I saw this tree strawling the coastline in Croatia during my last vacation.
In the background you can see Novigrad City.

Lucky me, I had my Sigma 10-20 with me.
So what else do I need?
Blue sky and a few minutes to take the picture.

For too long on our list - last week we finally made it...
Nice shooting at the water tower in Vienna's 10th district.
Although it was not that easy to get a "special" view on the tower, I guess I found at least one or two positions that are worth to take pictures from.
To be honest, several HDR ones are a little more "eye catching" than this one.
Anyhow, I liked that one most.

Winter is finally over.
During a nice spring walk with my family I found this sponge growing on this weeping willow.
Since I only had my 50mm fixed lense with me, I had to play around to get a nice view including the blurred lake in the background.
Cannot say why, but I like it...

Shot this one during our last visit of Viennas famous Schönbrunn zoo.
Since this is one of my first pictures I shot in RAW, it is far away from perfect.
But I am trying...

Dachstein

Some scenic view from Dachstein, situated at the border of Upper Austria and Styria in central Austria.

Although I used no filter, the colours turned out to be really brilliant.
I had to crawl up two thirds of a ski slope to get this shot - really breathtaking :-)

Barbwire

Again some fence - this time barbwire.
In the background you can see some nice houses of Ramsau's surroundings covered with snow.
There was plenty of white this week - so we enjoyed skiing with our kid on the hill close by.
